That is the honest version. We are small, pre-revenue, and hiring slowly on purpose. When a role does open it will go to someone we have already been talking to for a while, which is the argument for getting in touch before there is a posting to answer.
What the job is
Holding a thing to a standard nobody is checking.
We build evidence infrastructure. The whole product is a claim that our work holds up when someone hostile examines it, which means the quality bar is not a matter of pride here. It is the thing being sold.
In practice that means people who are uncomfortable shipping something they cannot defend, who write down what they are not sure about instead of rounding it away, and who will say the inconvenient thing in the room rather than after the meeting. Most of our internal documents contain a list of what is still wrong with the work. That is not an accident and it is not going to change.
It is early. The company has one product, a general release that is still ahead of it, and founders who do not yet pay themselves. Anyone joining now is making a bet with their own time, and we would rather you make it with clear eyes than be recruited into it.
